Mach III
Before Reinforced and Metalheadz, Goldie took boxes of an Ajax Project white label from the pressing plant to a London music distributor himself. Mach III captures that first step from the dance floor into making records. [2]

Release history and significance
Goldie came to rave through London’s clubs and the DJ Kemistry. After seeing 4Hero perform at the Astoria, he approached Marc Mac with an offer to contribute artwork. His redesign of the Reinforced Records logo began a relationship that would shape his music. [2]
He had already collaborated with an Icelandic musician on the four-track Ajax Project EP. Goldie recalled collecting the pressed records, loading them into a car and delivering them for distribution. The first supply sold out and another pressing followed. When he proposed an EP to Reinforced, Marc already knew his Ajax Project work. [2]
“Ruffige,” which features Goldie’s vocals, opens the record. “4 Windows,” “Ruffige (Phil Collins Mix)” and “Crazy 4 Your Love” complete the programme. Its breakbeats and sampled voices belong to the early hardcore scene from which Goldie’s later jungle productions developed. [1]
