An early Nicki Minaj credit appears in an unexpected setting: the music accompanying a wrestler’s entrance. Billed as Nicki Maraj among the Hood$tars, she contributed vocals to “Don’t Mess With,” Victoria’s theme on WWE’s 2004 ThemeAddict compilation. [1]

Release history and significance
Columbia’s contemporary announcement names all four Hood$tars vocalists: Lou$tar, Scaff Boogs, Nicki Maraj and SVN-Up. It credits the song to Jim Johnston. This is a group vocal appearance, with the future Minaj named individually in the release documentation. [1]
Johnston described entrance music as the emotional backdrop to wrestling characters. The song therefore had a job beyond the record: to announce Victoria and establish her presence before she reached the ring. The compilation brought that television music home, alongside a DVD of entrance videos. [1]
“Don’t Mess With” is track ten on the Canadian CD and appears again on the accompanying DVD. The sixteen-track album places the Hood$tars alongside performers including Motörhead, Drowning Pool and John Cena. [2]
