The name on the label is simply BIG. “Party and Bullshit,” issued with the 1993 film Who’s the Man?, introduced the rapper on a single before Ready to Die. [1]

Release history and significance
Producer Easy Mo Bee remembered Biggie sitting quietly in the studio, nodding and murmuring to himself without writing anything down. Then he would announce that he was ready and deliver the verses. Mo Bee identified “Party and Bullshit” as the beginning of their studio work together. [2]
The refrain draws on the Last Poets’ “When the Revolution Comes,” carrying a phrase from that spoken-word recording into Biggie’s party narrative. [3]
This Uptown/MCA promotional 12-inch offers radio, album, instrumental and club versions. Easy Mo Bee produced the recording; its soundtrack connection appears in the label notes. The different versions show how the single was prepared for both broadcast and club play. [1]
